Championing Voices, Defending Rights
As a Teller County resident who served on the RE2 District Accountability Committee and cooks monthly for our veterans’ breakfast, I’m committed to defending our community’s values and constitutional rights

Ladies and Gentlemen,
When you choose a leader, you choose someone who doesn’t just promise progress but delivers it—someone who transforms challenges into solutions and builds systems that endure. Today, I stand before you as a candidate whose career is a testament to action, accountability, and impact. Let me share with you a story of leadership that proves I am ready to serve you.
My journey has been one of service, grounded in the disciplined execution of complex missions. I led the GSA Fleet Accountability Project, developing and executing a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) that brought over 4,500 vehicles into compliance with the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). Through strategic coordination with DPAS principals, I ensured alignment with Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 5000.64, mitigating risks and completing the task flawlessly. I established inventory validation protocols and overhauled the Functional Area (FA591) Inspection Checklist.
But leadership is more than execution; it’s about innovation and foresight. I created a Survey Assessment Tool to identify gaps in fleet manager training, aligning it with industry and military standards. I developed the Command Review Training Assist Visit (CRTAV) program, delivering hands-on training to operations teams across installations. I revised Marine Corps Order (MCO) 11240.106C, drafted licensing and training guidelines for Material Handling Equipment operators, and established internal controls for asset utilization and the Fleet Card Program. These efforts weren’t just policies—they were frameworks for efficiency and accountability.
As a Garrison Mobile Equipment (GME) and Energy and Utilities Subject Matter Expert, I provided critical guidance to Headquarters Marine Corps and GSA resource managers. I conducted site visits and program reviews at Marine Corps Recruit Depots in San Diego and Parris Island, delivering actionable insights that strengthened operations. My research and analysis of GME programs identified issues, evaluated legislative impacts, and proposed costeffective solutions, informed by my knowledge of economic theories and public policy. I drafted policies, interpreted federal regulations, and provided predictive advice with alternative courses of action to resolve complex issues.
My ability to communicate complex technical material—whether through written reports, oral presentations, or training sessions—ensured stakeholders were informed and empowered. I trained key personnel in the Transportation Division on internal reviews, created a Fleet Manager Training PowerPoint to address weaknesses in forklift operations, fuel card management, and inventory control, and equipped staff with the latest mandates from DoDI 4500.36 and public law. I even conducted a mechanic-to-equipment ratio study for tactical and NTV assets, finding efficiencies in a shrinking funding landscape.
As Director of Internal Audits, I provided timely, discreet feedback to senior leadership, reporting internal control issues with comprehensive recommendations. As Director of Logistics, I managed a Motor Transport Company, a $35,000 quarterly budget, and the redistribution of $1.9 million in assets with 100% accuracy—three months ahead of schedule. In Regional Command East, Afghanistan, I ensured logistics flow for all American units, conducting risk analysis to guarantee mission readiness. I was hand-picked to train over 1,000 supervisors, 1,400 employees, and additional trainers in the National Security Personnel System (NSPS), a former pay-for-performance system for U.S. Department of Defense civilian employees. Implemented in 2006, NSPS established a flexible civilian management system that effectively adapted to evolving needs.
This is the leadership I offer: strategic, collaborative, and results-driven. I don’t just manage—I innovate. I don’t just plan—I execute. And I don’t just lead—I empower. As your candidate, I pledge to bring this same rigor to our community [or district, state, etc.]. I will tackle our challenges with transparency, accountability, and a commitment to progress. Whether it’s managing resources, crafting policies, or building partnerships, I will work tirelessly to deliver for you.
Together, we can create a future where every decision is informed, every action is effective, and every outcome serves the greater good. I ask for your support, your vote, and your partnership in this journey. Let’s build a stronger tomorrow—together.
Thank you,
Aaron

Total Years of Service: 22 years 2 Months

As a Teller County resident and retired U.S. Marine, I’ve dedicated years to serving our community. In 2021, I ran as a write-in candidate for the RE2 Board of Education to advocate for parental rights and educational excellence. For four years, I served on the RE2 District Accountability Committee, including two as co-chair, helping craft the district’s mission statement and charter to reflect our community’s values. I’ve also served two years on the High School Accountability Committee and continue to volunteer monthly cooking for the Teller County Veterans free breakfast. As GOP Precinct 12 Co-Chair, I’ve worked to uphold constitutional principles like limited government and individual liberty, fighting state overreach to protect our rural way of life. My campaign for District 2 Commissioner is built on Honor, Courage, and Commitment to deliver transparent, conservative leadership for Teller County.

Leadership and Conservative Platform: Committed to Teller County
As a proud resident of Teller County, I am running for County Commissioner to bring principled, conservative leadership that unites our community and upholds the values that make Woodland Park, Cripple Creek, Divide, Victor, and Florissant so special. Teller County is a bastion of constitutional fidelity, rugged individualism, and small-town spirit, where neighbors gather for barbecues, veterans are honored, and freedom thrives. My platform is built on a proven record of service to this community, a commitment to conservative principles, and a vision to lead with transparency, unity, and excellence.
1. Proven Commitment to Teller County
My dedication to Teller County is not just a promise—it’s a lived commitment. Since 2021, I’ve served as District Accountability Committee Co-Chair for the RE2 School District, advocating for quality education and parental rights. As a write-in candidate for the RE2 Board of Education in 2021, I fought for transparency and accountability in our schools. For two years, I served on the High School Accountability Committee, ensuring our students’ needs were prioritized. As GOP Precinct 12 Co-Chair since 2022, I’ve worked to strengthen our conservative voice, including helping organize Teller County’s vibrant 4th of July celebrations, a testament to our shared patriotism. I volunteer as a cook for the Monthly Teller County Veterans Free Breakfast, serving those who’ve served us, and, alongside my wife Brenda, as a volunteer pastor for Crossroads Ministry, providing spiritual and emotional support to our elderly. These efforts reflect my belief that leadership starts with service—listening to our community, showing up, and building trust.
2. Conservative Principles in Action
Teller County’s conservative heart—evident in its consistent two-thirds Republican vote—demands a Commissioner who champions limited government, individual liberty, and fiscal responsibility. I stand for protecting property rights, ensuring public safety, and keeping government out of your personal life. My decades in the Marine Corps and government service honed my commitment to these principles. As an inspector, I was a forerunner to DODGE, rooting out fraud, waste, abuse, and policy violations, ensuring integrity and accountability in every program. My leadership in converting 45,000 General Services Administration fleet vehicles to the Defense Property Accountability System saved taxpayers nearly $750,000 and finished months ahead of schedule—a model of efficiency Teller County deserves. As Commissioner, I’ll manage county resources with the same precision, delivering projects on time and within budget while safeguarding your tax dollars.
3. Leadership That Unites and Inspires
Teller County deserves a Commissioner who can turn challenges into victories and division into unity. My Marine Corps career taught me to thrive in crisis, bridge divides, and deliver results. Whether managing multi-million-dollar budgets or addressing complex issues like hazing or fraud, I’ve led with decisiveness and integrity. Here in Teller County, I see a community hungry for leadership that listens—leadership that makes county meetings feel inclusive, resolves debates like short-term rentals with fairness, and ensures every voice is heard. My vision is a Teller County where governance is transparent, public services strengthen our community, and every decision inspires pride. I’ll work tirelessly to protect our rural character, support our sheriff’s department, and foster economic growth that respects our values—ensuring Teller County remains a place where families thrive and freedom endures.
4. A Vision for Teller County’s Future
As your Commissioner, I’ll bring people together to tackle our challenges—whether it’s managing growth, improving infrastructure, or enhancing public safety—while staying true to our conservative roots. Residents can expect a county government that operates with excellence, transparency, and accountability, where resources are managed wisely, and community ties are strengthened. From supporting our local businesses to protecting our natural beauty, I’ll lead with the same dedication I’ve shown as a veteran, volunteer, and community servant. Together, we’ll build a Teller County that reflects our shared values: faith, freedom, and unity.
Why Vote for Me?
Teller County needs a Commissioner who combines proven leadership, conservative values, and a heart for service. My years of active involvement—from advocating for our schools to serving our veterans and organizing community events—show I’m all in for Teller County. My Marine Corps and government experience equips me to manage budgets, solve problems, and unite people with integrity and efficiency. I’m not here to make empty promises; I’m here to listen, deliver results, and keep Teller County a place where our conservative principles thrive. Vote for me to ensure a county government that’s transparent, responsive, and dedicated to our shared future—a Teller County we’re all proud to call home.
God Bless the U.S.A.
